From that humble beginning to over a dozen stores and more than 200 artisanal creations, the soul of Khatri Sweets remains unchanged — the belief that sweets are not just food, they are emotions wrapped in tradition.

In 1985, Shri Rameshwar Khatri left behind a secure livelihood to pursue a single, audacious dream — to create sweets so pure and so perfect that they would become an inseparable part of every celebration. Armed with nothing but a copper kadhai, a handful of family recipes, and an unyielding belief in the sacred art of mithai-making, he set up a modest stall that would eventually become a legacy.
He insisted on pure desi ghee when shortcuts were easier. He chose A-grade ingredients when cheaper alternatives were available. He perfected each recipe through hundreds of iterations, refusing to serve anything less than extraordinary. His philosophy was simple: “If I wouldn't offer it to my own family, I won't offer it to yours.”
Today, three decades later, that same unwavering commitment to purity lives on in every sweet that bears the Khatri name. What began in a small kitchen has blossomed into a beloved heritage — one that his children and grandchildren continue to nurture with the same devotion.
